Sharing is caring

BEAR is really starting to take shape. Soon, it will be home to three households, all within the same footprint, making better use of space and embracing sustainability.

From the start, the goal has been to make BEAR more than just a place to live. It’s designed as a building where residents can connect, share their lives, and support one another. Despite doubts—especially in Greece—about whether a shared space like this would work, we’ve stayed committed to this vision.

The ground floor will be a shared recreational and activity space, a place for residents to relax, interact, and naturally come together. This common area will be the heart of BEAR, where people can engage and collaborate, fostering a sense of community that’s often missing in modern living.

Sharing resources is at the core of the project’s efficiency. Instead of each household having its own pool, we’ll have one shared pool. Instead of three separate maintenance teams or gardeners, we’ll share one, reducing costs and environmental impact. And rather than each household using a fraction of the available recreational space, we’re creating one well-utilized area for everyone.

By pooling these resources, we reduce energy consumption, maintenance efforts, and space usage, while also building stronger connections between residents. It’s a smarter, more sustainable way to live.

Sharing is caring!
